4th Annual HHK Litter Clean-up and Arbor Day Tree Rededication Ceremony

Friday’s 4th Annual HHK Litter Clean-up was successful with many enthusiastic volunteers teaming up on Arbor Day to remove and bag litter around our public grounds and scenic waterways.

We are very grateful to the Girl Scouts, Missy McCloskey and Katie Raschdorf for their collaboration on this initiative with the Shade Tree and Beautification Committee, and we extend a sincere thank you to all the fantastic residents who came out to keep Ho-Ho-Kus beautiful. A special thanks to the HHK Volunteer Fire Department for providing hot dogs and hamburgers for everyone!

Following the event, the Mayor & Council and Shade Tree and Beautification Committee held an Arbor Day tree rededication ceremony for a number of trees affected by Phase I and Phase II of the Beautification renovation at the Borough Hall, Town Green and Memorial Park.  Families and friends gathered to honor the good stewards of our community to whom trees had been dedicated. These special trees are a living memory of their outstanding service to the town of Ho-Ho-Kus.
